Alexa McDonough with daughter of Rodolfo Arteaga, resident of Palo Ralo. Rodolfo was relocated to a new village 2km from his original village in order to make way for the San Martin mine.

No one or no company has the right to impose forced relocation. All communities must have the right to choose whether a mining, or other extractive company may establish themselves in their community. All parties must be cognisant of the impact of such practices on the present & future of the environment. Suzanne Hope
