MPs from Canada and Britain will arrive in Honduras on September 9th to investigate Canadian mining operations in this Central American country.
Alexa McDonough, MP for Halifax, British MPs, Keith Hill, a former Parliamentary Private Secretary to Prime Minister Blair, Stephen Pound, MP for Ealing, London, together with sister agency CAFOD UK delegation leader George Gelber are part of the mission. Mary Durran, advocacy and research officer for Development and Peace is leading the Canadian delegation.
